Kensington Extension
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our project has recently won the Best Alterations and Additions $200,000 - $250,000 category at the prestigious Master Builders Housing Excellence Awards. It is an incredible honor to be recognized for our hard work and dedication to creating beautiful, functional living spaces for our clients.
Our team worked closely with the client from the initial concept all the way through to the final completion, ensuring that their vision was brought to life in every detail. The project involved a number of complex alterations and additions, including extending the living area, reconfiguring the kitchen into a bedroom, and adding new facilities such as a bathroom, laundry, and kitchen.
One of the standout features of the project was the addition of a beautiful cedar-lined patio entertainment area over a multi-level jarrah deck. This not only provided the family with a stunning outdoor space to relax and entertain in, but also added significant value to the property.
In addition to the stunning outdoor area, the Axon weatherboards used in the project also created a stunning contrast to the existing brickwork's horizontal lines, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the property.
We are incredibly proud of the work we have done on this project, and grateful for the opportunity to work with such a wonderful client. Winning the Best Alterations and Additions award is a true testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we look forward to continuing to create beautiful, functional living spaces for our clients in the future.
Kensington Project
We successfully completed a project where we helped a client realize their dream home. Retaining the house's character was essential, and we seamlessly integrated high ceilings, decorative cornice, large finishing lines, and recycled jarrah floors into the original structure's bones. Our team incorporated modern features such as integrated kitchen appliances, under tile heating, and double glazing.
During the project, our team planned everything carefully to ensure that the clients could remain onsite. We are thrilled to have created a beautiful, functional living space that exceeded their expectations. Working with such a wonderful client was an absolute pleasure, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have helped them achieve their dream home.

Our approach followed two key steps. Firstly, purge the existing tenancy of redundant, superficial, or damaged material. Secondly, define new spaces with as little material and code-triggered upgrades as reasonably possible. From this position emerged the notion of a shop as a singular wall.
A singular freestanding timber wall was to weave around the perimeter of the cruciform shaped tenancy to casually define the various briefed areas. As it was not full height, nor did it fully enclose any rooms, we considered it to be a piece of furniture. It was to be a singularly crafted and multipurpose object.
Low-tech detailing and simple materials such as kiln dried pine & OSB, were to minimise the project’s cost, required trades, carbon footprint and expedite construction.
Shoalwater Project
We're incredibly excited to share with you the details of our latest project where we completely transformed a dated bathroom, and gave a new lease of life to an existing living room and master bedroom. Our team of skilled professionals expertly installed walls to create an additional bedroom that followed the same stunning décor as the rest of the house, with large decorative cornice and recycled jarrah floorboards. We're proud to say that the end result was a truly magnificent transformation, with every detail carefully considered to ensure an exquisite and functional living space for our esteemed client.
Our team worked tirelessly to bring our client's vision to life, and we're thrilled with what we've achieved. From choosing the right materials and color scheme to ensuring that the space was functional and practical, we left no stone unturned. The attention to detail and level of craftsmanship that went into this project is something we take great pride in. Seeing the look of joy on our client's face when they saw the finished product was the ultimate reward.

Gamble Street
We were engaged by the owners of this well-designed home in Warnbro, after having on going issues with their builder.
Numerous structural issues were picked up by an independent building inspection and ourselves. We were actually blown away by these issues from a very reputable and frequently used building company (or company of companies...).
All we could put it down to was lack of supervision, and trust in subcontractors who would just agree to set rates from the builder and left to do (or try to do) the work.
We worked in with the client to get them into this home as quickly as possible, as 4 years was long enough for what should've been a 9 month build.
South Perth Remodel

Como Refresh
We recently completed a full remodel of our bathrooms and we couldn't be happier with the results! The outdated and cramped spaces have been completely transformed into bright and spacious areas that we truly love. One of the biggest changes we made was installing new full-height tiles in all the wet areas, which has really helped to give the rooms a much more modern and fresh look.
In addition to updating the tiles, we also reworked the cupboards in our bedroom to feature floor-to-ceiling mirror doors. This has not only made the room feel larger, but it has also added a touch of elegance that we really appreciate. We also replaced the old floor tiles and floorboards with hybrid flooring, which has been much easier to maintain and looks fantastic.
One of the biggest challenges we faced during the remodel was an oddly positioned pantry in our kitchen. We decided to remove it and add new storage space in the updated, functional kitchen instead. This has really enhanced the functionality of the space and has made it much easier to prepare meals and entertain guests.
Overall, our focus throughout the remodel was to create a beautiful and functional living space that we could enjoy for many years to come. We are thrilled with the outcome and can't wait to show off our newly renovated home to our friends and family.
Cooloongup Ensuite
The bathroom renovation project we recently completed for an elderly homeowner was a resounding success. Our primary objective was to create a practical and safe space that catered to their specific needs. To achieve this, we enlisted the services of an Occupational Therapist who conducted a site visit to evaluate the requirements thoroughly. The outcome of our collaboration was a level access shower, custom grab rails, a high toilet, and ample turning space for a future walker. Additionally, we incorporated two walk-in robes to each bedroom to provide easy accessibility.
Throughout the project, our focus remained on creating a functional and secure environment for the homeowner to use without any difficulty. We were always mindful of their needs and preferences, and we made sure to communicate with them regularly to ensure that we were meeting their expectations. We took great care to source high-quality materials and equipment that would meet the highest standards of safety and durability.
We are immensely proud of the work we did on this project, and we are thrilled to have been able to help this homeowner achieve a more comfortable and convenient living space. We firmly believe that everyone deserves to have a home that meets their needs, and we are committed to doing our part to make that a reality.
Warnbro Renovation
Our team of experts confidently recommended the use of Hebel panelled aerated concrete attached to timber framing to seamlessly blend the extension with the existing structure. The manifold benefits of this choice include its strength, durability, and ability to withstand harsh weather conditions and natural disasters. Additionally, its appearance is identical to double brick, but with a colour embedded texture coat that requires less maintenance, making it an ideal solution.
Thanks to our expert recommendation, the end result was a stunning extension that seamlessly blended with the existing structure, both inside and out. The new bedroom, wardrobe, and ensuite provided our clients with the additional space they needed, while the new entry and hallway improved the flow and functionality of their home. Our clients were absolutely delighted with the outcome, and we take great pride in having been a part of creating their dream home.
Exhibition Way - Extension
Working with the family who had a clear vision for their home was an absolute privilege. Their top priority was to maximize their living space, and we were more than happy to take on the challenge. Despite working within a specific budget, we were able to deliver a stunning design that included a kid's bedroom, master bedroom, ensuite, and a large walk-in storage room. We transformed the outdated kitchen and turned an awkward area of the living room into a functional scullery. Our team worked diligently to ensure minimal disruption to the young family's daily routine, and we completed the project on time and within budget.
Throughout the project, we were in constant communication with the family, ensuring that their needs and desires were always taken into consideration. We listened carefully to their feedback and made adjustments to the design as necessary. Our team was committed to creating a practical and beautiful living space for this family, and we're extremely proud of the exceptional results.
